87327-3
LaboratoryPorcine circovirus type 2 IgG+IgM Ab [Titer] in Serum by Immunofluorescence
Definition
This assay is used to report the titer of Porcine circovirus 2 (PCV2) IgG and IgM antibodies based on the immunofluorescence staining pattern. The test does not differentiate IgG from IgM. Nuclear and/or cytoplasmic fluorescence interspersed throughout the well indicates a positive result for PCV2 antibodies, and lack of nuclear or cytoplasmic fluorescence or the presence of isolated cell was fluorescence indicates a negative result.
