72368-4
Laboratoryt(11;14)(q13;q32)(CCND1,IGH) fusion transcript [Presence] in Bone marrow by Molecular genetics method
Definition
PCR-based assays are used to detect and monitor CCND1-IGH t(11;14)(q13;q32) gene translocations in patients with lymphoproliferations. This test is based on, but not limited to the IdentiClone BCL1/JH Translocation Assay, which targets the MTC region of the CCND1/IGH gene fusion and amplifies genomic DNA between primers that target the CCND1 (also known as BCL1) gene and the conserved joining (JH) regions of the IGH gene.
